Beyond Futuristic Cameras
Over the past years drones have developed from niche gadget tech for the radio control enthusiasts to a highly professional platform for photographers.
The latest generation of drones are much easier to fly and control, have superb cameras and enable both novice and professional photographers to capture unprecedented high quality footage with limited flying experience.
If you decided to capture the world from a bird's eye perspective, that's a great idea. The only thing you need to make sure is that the drone you buy has been specifically designed for photography and is not just a basic toy with an attached camera. In addition, since prices vary a lot, make sure that you buy a camera that fits your abilities, knowledge and experience.
In practice, you should be looking for drones with either a built-in camera or one that enables the attachment of a camera. It must be easy to fly, the camera must have low-distortion and wide-angle lens, and it should include a great gimbal for effective image stabilization. In addition look for a drone with good wireless range that gives you the ability to see in real-time what you’re shooting as if you are on the drone.
